The short version: your data stays on your iPhone, and we do not collect it.
Who we are
PMTech Apps is the brand of an independent developer. RoofTakeoff is sold on the App Store by that developer, who is responsible for this policy and for the app’s handling of your data (“we”, “us”). To contact us, use the Email us button on this page.
Information you enter
Customer names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, roof measurements, prices and notes are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app. They are not sent to us or to any third party, except for the address search described below. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it, unless it is included in your own device backup.
Satellite measuring and address search
When you use Measure on satellite, the address you type and the map area you view are sent to Apple Maps so it can find the property and load satellite imagery. Apple processes this under its own Apple Maps privacy terms; we do not receive it. The roof outline you draw and the roof diagram made from it are saved only in that estimate on your iPhone; the satellite imagery itself is not saved. RoofTakeoff does not access your location.
Estimates you share
When you tap Send PDF Estimate, the app creates a PDF on your device and opens the iOS share sheet. The PDF goes only where you choose to send it, for example Mail, Messages or Files. We never receive a copy.
Purchases
Subscriptions to RoofTakeoff Pro are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. To keep track of subscriptions, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives your purchase history (which plan, when it started and renews) under a random app ID. It is not linked to your name, email or customer data, and it is not used for advertising.
Analytics, ads and tracking
RoofTakeoff contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. Apart from the subscription records above, no data leaves your iPhone. We do not track you across apps or websites.
Children
RoofTakeoff is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
